Seriously though, that was unexpected!
This movie really is an intense thrill-ride both in the feelings and the action. The space battles are truly memorable, with the beginning battle on Hoth and the Millennium Falcon dodging asteroids while escaping The Empire, and it only gets better in the lightsaber fights and the suspenseful scenes. But this doesnt diminish the impact the characters make or how much their personalities are fleshed out. In fact they are the ones that make the action so good because of how much I cared about them.
I really enjoyed this movie, from start to finish, though Im concerned if that also has to do with how positive everyone is about it. I have yet to see someone bad mouth this film, its one of those rare titles that gets almost no hate whatsoever. And Im worried I mightve gotten swept by the tide of praise towards it. Dont get me wrong though, it earns this praise. Its an excellent title that leaves you wanting for more, and I really cant wait to see the next one. Bring on Episode VI!
And now, if you excuse me, I need to subject myself to a paternity test. Seriously, if a guy with an evil voice and his face covered claims hes your father, you better get a paternity test.
