A quick sketch I made this morning. It's a little tribute to both Cynos-Zilla's "MLP Blackest Night" series and Michael Ravencroft's story "MLP Next Generation: Know Fear!", which features Kilala's OC: Starbust.

Story:
It was always Starburst's dream to join the Royal Guard. However being the daughter of Princess Twilight Sparkle made that difficult. Not only that, but a new but familiar evil force had began to wreak havoc across Equestria, leaving nothing but death and destruction in their wake. Things changed however, when Starburst found a special ring…

"Starburst of Equestria, you have the ability to instill great fear. Welcome to the Sinestro Corps."

When her mother found out, she expected to have the ring taken away from her… only for her mother to reveal that she once wielded it's power as well…
