He still acts like the same spike, hes just quite a bit taller. Sometimes he tries to act more like a tough dragon, but he fails to scare anyone, even the foals in ponyville know not to be afraid of spike because he would never hurt anypony. When spike is in his late teens sweetie belle develops a crush on spike. whenever she sees spike she hovers around him constantly trying to get his attention.
