Quite a while back now, I was involved as a concept artist in the Journey of the Spark MLP fan project, which was to be the fandom's first fully animated, feature-length MLP fan film. It was an exciting prospect at the time.

As is well known now, this animation project was ultimately cancelled. Last I heard, it was still slated to be a radio play. Not sure if that's still true…

But I have recently received word that it is now ok for me to let some of my concept ideas see the light of day.

This here was my ORIGINAL design for the "nightmare" force that was threatening to once again take over Princess Luna's mind. I always preferred those aggressively snarling teeth. Maybe I'm just weird that way. XD
