" ~ I made these sometime last year, and got addicted ever since! I always saw pixeling as intimidating, because it was so exact, but when I finally pushed myself over that hurdle and started with something simple, it worked out better than I thought. I played around a lot with shapes until I had a basic template down and went from there. This Mane 6 set is basically my initial test run, and I've gotten a lot faster and more versatile since then with pixel portraits. When I'm sick of drawing, it can be very relaxing to just click pixel by pixel until I got a picture. It's very different from how I draw, and I like it for that.
