I know I just returned from a long absence and posted something again, and still haven't caught up with my new messages to say nothing of several months' worth I need to sort through, but returning to deviantART yesterday, it came to my attention that today is the birthday of a friend of mine, and I couldn't let that occasion slip by without doing something!

is a rather long-time fandom acquaintance of mine, a treasured shipping buddy, and also somebody I had the great pleasure of getting to personally meet and spend some time with a few weeks ago at EQLA, and who I would as such consider a dear friend now. While he's almost as big a Rarijack fan as I am, he also happens to be very fond of Cloudchaser, and since I already have quite a lot of Rarity and Applejack artworks under my belt (with no end of such things conceivably in sight, fair warning) I hoped he might enjoy this just as much or more as a change of pace.
