"Queen Chalybeous wearing a crystal raven skull made by her changelings. Why? Because her changelings heard about some pony holiday called "Nightmare Night" coming up from pony patrons to their motel. What's more, it seems ponies wear costumes and scare each other as part of the festivities. Seeing their Queen was feeling rather down lately, a pair of changeling buddies decided to take matters into their own hoofs and thought this silly but fun holiday is the perfect way to cheer her up. It took them some frantic convincing to keep the elders shushed and to stop the surprise from getting spoiled.

So with only about a month away from the holiday, her changelings as discreetly as possible planned the surprise festivity with jobs being delegated. The changelings agreed their queen should have a costume befitting her and thus the idea for a crystal raven skull came to be. When the holiday came around they presented their present and surprise festival to their Queen after much assurance and explanation they were not being down with some mental illness.

It didn't take long for Chalybeous to be enamored by their gesture and the concept of Nightmare Night. Unfortunately for some changelings, their Queen got so into it she didn't stop pulling scares and impromptu pranks throughout the whole night until the next day."
