Imagine your OTP in a dystopian future in which robots are being made, but people are afraid of them, thinking theyd kill off all humans. In spite, the humans beat robots and destroy them, sometimes for fun. Person A is a human, and Person B is a robot. A is scared of robots and wants nothing to do with them, until they run into B, who is running away from a mob. A suddenly feels bad for B and decides to take them in. A and B bond over time and eventually they fall in love. However, A knows its not right, since it is basically a death sentence to befriend a robot, and abandons B, leaving them alone. Much later, A finds B being faced by state troops, armed with chainsaws. A jumps in and screams, If youre gonna kill them, youre gonna have to kill me with them!
