15 years ago today, over 3000 men, women, children (some still unborn), and first responders of all faiths were murdered by extremists for who they were, their beliefs, and for holding their rights dear. 15 years later, I remember coming out of my room just as the second plane hit on live television. I remember, for the first time, seeng my father crying as he told me that my cousin, a paramedic, had been found in the rubble.
15 years later, I still remember it all.
And I will never forget.
