Like, is my swedish butt missing some nuance of the english language here? Isn't it obvious what "flowering sticks" would be? I was very confused why the episode made such a big deal over what a "flowering stick" is. I get that maybe trees weren't in bloom at that time of year, but they should still know what it is! 1) You have a flowering tree 2) You grab stick 3) No third step because that's literally it. Why are they so confused??
Uh, anyway, just a short comic brining light to a burning, extremely important, question I've had — which also gave me an excuse to try and practise a "cuter" style without going full chibi. Like a mix between my usual and the show sort of? That's what I was going for anyway, though I think I'm still leaning too much towards my usual. Also lineless, because I just think it looks really appealing.
Y'know it's interesting. The style I use here is much cleaner and deceptively "simpler" than my usual one -yet it took longer than normal for me to draw it, since it's not a style I'm 100% used to and comfortable with. Also I find that many "simpler" styles are more difficult to make look good, just because I have so few details to work with, so I have to make sure all the ones I do have actually work. Less detail makes spotting errors easier, at least for me with my own work. That's probably another reason this took longer than usual =P
(Also, this is referencing the episode "Student Counsel" in case that wasn't obvious)
