Skyla wandered through the castle, breathing in the night air. A few more hours and the damned sun would be up to ruin her evening. But at least she would get to spend some time with Desert before then.
"Princess Skyla." A deep voice echoed. While others would have looked behind them, Skyla knew better. She looked up, watching a batpony unhook himself from the rafters. "How… pleasant to see you."
"Don't lie, ninja bat. We both know you can't stand me." She snorted, moving aside to let him land. North landed silently, like all his kind. Others found batponies creepy. Skyla thought they were just annoying. "So what brings you? I thought you'd be watching Des."
"Father is watching her highness." He stated, his cool as ice smile never leaving his face. "I am doing an errand."
"And errand?" She laughed, walking past the larger stallion. "I thought you were some kind of big bad bodyguard not a unpaid intern."
"I'm to escort the Princess to her guest room."
"Don't bother. I'm not planning on staying long enough for you to even make a bed." She stated, stretching her wings. "Why don't you ninja me some snacks, though?" North felt his wings twitch in irritation but his expression didn't change.
"I never said the princess I was escorting was you, Skyla." He said, just before a voice called out. A voice that filled Skyla with dread.
"Mr North!? Mr North, is that you?" Skyla bolted into the air as a small (bigger than her but small for a mare her age) mare galloped forward, her horn glowing as she did. She slid to a stop, frowning as she looked around with her milky blue eyes. "Mr North? Was there someone with you?"
"You're sister is here with us, your highness." He reported, bowing to the blind girl. "She's behind you."
"You can eat all the dick, North. And chock on it." Skyla hissed as her 'sister' turned to her. Unseeing eyes peered at her as a smile grew. "What are you smiling about?"
"You didn't fly away this time!" She chirped, nearly bouncing in place. "That must be progress, right?"
"Tch, don't get all chipper, dumbass." She retorted. "I've got ponies to see. Then I'm out."
"Then perhaps we can go together?" She asked, staring up at Skyla like a foal. She was too damn old to look at their sibling like that. Skyla wanted to tell her off. To tell her to wander off a cliff or something but…
"Fine, but I ain't landing, got it." She huffed, keeping her self afloat. Her 'sister' clapped her hooves, trotting close to North, who waited patiently for the two to stop.
"Shall we princess?" North asked, bowing again. The blind princess nodded.
"Yes, thank you, Mr North."

Introducing [drumroll] Redesigned North Wind and currently [Nameless] child of Cadence and Shinning. Originally, I was going to make Nameless here a boy but then I remembered that I have way too many guys so he became a she.
North Wind's redesign is loosely based on Takeo from Noblesse. I like the mans hair and long hair is sexy. He is the personal bodyguard of Princess Desert Moon as well as her good friend. He takes care of her and anyone she orders him to care for, such as Skyla. He doesn't understand why Desert befriended Skyla but since she isn't mean to his charge, he keeps his feelings on her personality to himself. He's fairly chill, very capable for his age (he's only a few years older than Desert) and a ninja.
[Nameless] is the child of Shining and Cadence, born when Skyla was 10 or so. She's been blind since birth but uses magic to sense those around her through the ground. She's pulling a magic Toph thing, sensing the shape and general feel of a pony through their connection to the earth. Basically, magic flows through the planet like water and every creature makes ripples as they walk. She can sense that and 'see' who they are.
[Nameless] has only seen Skyla once, when she was a baby. Whatever she 'saw' made her cry for days, screaming about how scary she was. After that, Skyla made sure never to be touching the ground whenever [Nameless] was around.
Note: Any suggestions for nameless would be appreciated.
