After thinking about it you believe that most of these jobs seem pretty good. Still, you decide to use your better judgment and call the clients for more information.
Some of these have more details further in their documents. The guard job, is just protecting the gem and crystals of a weapons company.

You make your way to a holo-phone and call the clients asking for testing.
A balding earth pony stallion with a lab coat appears on screen. You think you have a good idea why he’s working on hair growth.

Science pony: ”Hello.”

Plasma: “Hey I’m calling for more details on the testing job. I wanted to make sure it didn’t destroy my mane man.“

Science pony: ”Ahh, fabulous. I understand your concerns. Especially with such a fantastic mane like yours, but trust me. The only thing you should have to worry about is having too much hair to go around, haha. All we plan to do is use our new potion formula on your mane and coat. The effects should be almost instant so this should be a short trial.”

Plasma: ”Alright thanks. Expect to hear from me soon.”

Next up the spell test.
A unicorn mare with sunglasses on appears on screen. She seems a tad bit blitzed. She has the look of a college student or maybe one that just got out collage.

Mythic Spice: “Uh hello?”

Plasma: ”Hi I’m looking for details on the spell test?”

Mythic Spice: ”Oh sick! The name is Mythic Spice. Oh man this gonna be great colt, for real. Okay here’s the deal. So what’s the one thing you always wish you had around?”

Plasma: ”Um, more guns. Cash…milk.

Mythic Spice: ”How about another you! I’m making a doppelganger spell dude! Like a solid clone. Not a illusion, solid and it can take simple commands. Pretty cool right. All I need you to do is come over, make a doppelganger, and tell it to do some stuff. Then the cash and spell is yours.”

Plasma: ”Wow, could it be used in combat?”

Mythic Spice: ”I mean probably. Anyone can shoot a gun, but it might pushing it a bit if you try to get it to cook breakfast or write a paper. Well, unless your really good at magic. I try to make my spells the kind you can improve on yourself. I’m not one of those single use corporate hacks.”

Plasma: ”Thanks, I’ll keep in contact.”

Mythic Spice: ”Sweet! I’ll send you my address. See you soon cutie.~”

She gives you a flirty wink before she hangs up.

_Next you call about the missing persons case.
A unicorn stallion appears on screen. He seems to be enjoying some wine and has really clean…well everything. He has a thick posh accent._

Onyx Bolt: ”Hello, Onyx Bolt speaking.”

Plasma: ”Hi, i’m calling about the missing pony, I was hoping I could get some more information.”

Onyx Bolt: ”Such as?”

Plasma: ”Well, do you know where she might have gone or why she might have left?”

Onyx Bolt: ”Ugh, how am I supposed to know that. This is why I put out an ad for ponies to figure it out for me. I think she brought up something about liking the scene in some of those dive bars. Try there. As for why she left. It was probably for thrills or just to annoy me. Now please don’t bother me again unless you have progress to show.”

He then inspects you over a little bit and nods slightly.

Onyx Bolt:“You’re a unicorn right? Please try to act like one then. Even if you have to slum it with the lessers.”

You start to say something, but he hangs up on you before you have a chance to respond.

Finally you call about the solo mission ad.
A bubbly looking Diamond dog appears on screen. She’s playing with flowers in her hair and greets you with slightly apprehensive smile. Strangely enough you can’t tell if it’s because she’s eager or worried.

Daisy: “…Um hello.”

Plasma: ”Hey I’m calling about the solo job.”

Daisy: “Oh good! Thanks for reaching me. I almost thought no one would respond. I’m Daisy chain! But everyone just calls me Daisy.”

Plasma:” Nice to meet ya Daisy. I’m Plasma Heart. So about this mission. Do you think I could get some more details?”

Daisy: “Absolutely! Well, wait. Actually, I’d like to do that in person. What I can say though, is that I need someone to help me on a job. I’m a mercenary myself actually and I’m looking for someone I can trust.”

Plasma: ”Well how do I prove I’m trustworthy? “

Daisy: ”Well… are you from this station?”

Plasma: ”No.”

Daisy: “Then you’re doing pretty good so far! Anyway, I was hoping we could do some work together first. That way I know you can handle yourself. Afterwards I’ll go into the specifics of the job. Don’t worry i’m not looking for any money from the work. It’s more of a investment on my part anyway. So what do you say?”

Before you respond to Daisy. Another thought comes to mind. About the Changeling case. You’re not entirely sure you want to take it. Even if you did, you worry that it might just be a father overly protecting his kid. Come on, sure he said the guy broke in but maybe that’s just his spin on things. You don’t feel like you really know enough about it. Still you get the feeling that if you call, you might want to take a moment to think about how you ask about the case. It seems sensitive. On the other hand maybe you could go and ask around about the bounty and see if anyone heard about Master Facade. This sounds local, so maybe you can dig something up first.
