Sunny: Alright, alright. Just breathe. You're gonna walk over there and show 'em how it's done… n-not that you know how anything is down yet… but you will! And you do, you're gonna be the best guard Equestria's ever seen. Just like Uncle Shining. phew Okay let's do–

Overcast: Sunny?

Sunny: high pitched screaming C-CASS! You scared me! I-I mean that was just self defense. It's a guard thing. You wouldn't understand.

Overcast: Right chuckles

Sunny: Wait, what are you doing here?

Overcast: I was told there was gonna be sparring today for the new guard trainees.

Sunny: S-sparring?

Overcast: Yep. I heard it's gonna get pretty rough. So they needed a sort of nurse or physical trainer to help out. I figured I'd volunteer.

Sunny: Ah, I see. Yes… very smart. Wouldn't want anypony… dying… or… anything….. Can you die from sparring?

Overcast: I mean, you could die from tripping an falling if you're having a bad day soooo… anything's possible if life decides to screw you over.

Sunny: That's encouraging.

Overcast: So you're a trainee, huh? That's cool! I didn't take you for the guard type though.

Sunny: Hmph, well you took wrong. I am one hundred percent beefcake and ready to take on any enemy that comes my way puffs out chest

Overcast: First of all, beefcake doesn't necessarily mean strong. Second of all, you're more like a cheesecake. And third of all, I'm pretty sure I saw you squaring up with Tank the other day and ultimately ending up with bruised nose.

Sunny: He's got lightning punches!

Overcast: He's a tortoise, Sunshine.

Sunny: A strong and fast tortoise! And why does me being in the guard concern you anyways? Don't think I can do it?

Overcast: Eeeeeehhhh…

Sunny: Gee thanks…

Overcast: Look, I'm a strong believer in that "anything is possible if you put your mind to it" jazz, and I do think you could be a good guard. I'm just afraid your doing this for all the wrong reasons.

Sunny: What do you mean? I just wanna be a guard!

Overcast: I'm not buying it. Sunshine, you don't have to prove anything to anypony.

Sunny: … I'm just tired of being called girly and weak. B-but if I do well in the guard, that won't happen anymore

Overcast: But it's not you. And there's nothing wrong with being a girly, y'know. I might be biased but I think it's pretty great smiles

Sunny: Hnnn…

Overcast: Just own it, dude. And you're not weak. Maybe not the strongest physically, but you're smart, clever, good at all that magic stuff and you've got a great heart. Strength comes in many shapes and sizes.

Sunny: nods

Overcast: And if you wanna get stronger, physically, there are ways to do so other than putting yourself in a situation where you're fighting ponies twice your size who have been training for battle almost all their life chuckles

Sunny: Mmhm. Well… I'm still gonna give it a shot!

Overcast: Then I won't stop you. Be safe out there, okay? And if you don't think it's for you, I know a few really good workouts that you could do.

Sunny: Yeah?

Overcast: Mmhm. That's what happens when your mom's a superstar athlete.

Sunny: Well thank you, Cass. I might take you up on that offer.

Overcast: Good. Now get out there, champ! Just come find me on the sidelines if you get hurt, yeah?
