backstory for anyone who cares:

The pegasus is Merry Artha, the bubbly, over-enthusiastic pegasus who's more of a hoverer than a flyer. Her cutie mark represents her talent of spreading and inspiring compassion in others. She runs a school for foals who have learning or behavioral problems. having experienced both herself while growing up, she considers it her mission in life to help those who struggle themselves.

Zabra Kadabra is Cincineighti's town sign painter and poster maker. She has ambitions of becoming the royal court painter, but is currently thwarted in her attempts by her long-time rival Palette Knife; a pegasus colt who paints street art with his wings.

Their mother was a unicorn and their father was an earth pony, but they have a pegasus grandparent on both sides.
