It's the final entry for Equestria Daily's Artist Training Grounds! The prompt was: "Draw a pony celebration."
The best part of celebrations is cake! I decided to twist the prompt a bit and draw Pinkie Pie helping prepare a cake for the celebration since I think she'd enjoy the preparation as much as the party itself.
Originally I drew Pinkie Pie into a stock photo I found of someone decorating a cake, but given how small she was I decided to put in some more effort so I redrew the rest of the scene as well with some very heavy referencing.
