Sooo…Are you going to post the gaurd pony comic or not??

still working on the script! I’m planning on an update schedule, but I aim to have it 100% scripted/thumbnailed and a fair chunk finished before I start posting it, so it’s gonna be a while. :U I’m gonna be going back to school full-time in the fall so I want to have a good buffer built up!

as long as I’m talking about it though, I think I may have given a lot of people the wrong impression with the prologue? so for the record, it is not:

• an ask/rp blog
• grimdark or a “mature” take on canon where ponies DIE
• an AU where the unicorn guard joins the mane 6
• he doesn’t mack on Twilight either I promise (or anyone else for that matter, no time for smooches when there’s a Crisis happening!)

what it is, is a standalone comic that follows three royal guards through Everfree Forest during Nightmare Moon’s return. the prologue focused on the unicorn guard, but it stars all three of these boneheads:

it also touches a bit on what happened to Celestia (spoiler: she’s not on the sun) and, since it’s meant to be happening adjacent to the canon events, doesn’t actually have much of the mane 6 throughout. I’m not sure how long it’s going to be; my original goal was about 80 pages but I’m not yet at a point in the script where I can tell how close it’ll be. tone-wise it’s similar to everything else I’ve done, maybe a bit more action-y?

I think that’s everything I can say about it at this point!! if it doesn’t sound good to you that’s fine, I promise I won’t be spamming it and you can block/savior the #celestia’s faithfuls tag to avoid it completely. otherwise thank y’all for the support, and I hope you’ll enjoy it once it actually starts!! c:
