One day, the two Shetland Ponies, Barnacles and Bafflingbay, had enough of the two nonpareil brothers' torment, so they decided to pretend to be careless, tripping over and overturning the twins' cart. Afterwards, they freed themselves from the bridles and veins, and ran off before Flam would have any time to catch them.

Meanwhile, the wounded Flim tries to get himself and his cart back up.
