My Contest Entry for #AminoMascot! First of all, I only intended it to be a simple flat colored drawing with a transparent background… I don't know what made me do it, but I kept tweaking it, fixing it, and adding more details until I finally got this! I'm really proud of how this came out! I never drawing anything this good! Well rarely, but still. I also made a cutie mark in Inkscape, but I had no use of here since her flank i covered up.

For some reason, I kept on calling her Webby. Idk, it's just that Amino is such a huge online based community… It makes sense right? 🤔

This is where the real fun begins… As I said before, I took some inspiration from other site mascots for this, so enjoy!

Webby is a female pegasus who represents the Equestria Amino. She holds the values of the community to help provide a safe and welcoming environment to all who join.

When she was created… She just came into existance. No birth, no magic… She just sorta materialized out of thin air and was just here. A white and pink recolor of the character, Rainbow Dash with no cutie mark at all. She wasn't sure why she was here,… or even what to do. Not knowing her purpose, she looked towards the other communities of the Aminoverse and tried to learn from them. She saw from the success and failures of others that she had to uphold this community lest she wanted to become toxic and no fun for anyone, or even worse… disappear entirely. There were baby steps along the way. SHe and her creators decorated the community, fixed up the layout, and revised the rules many times until they had finally got something to work. They kept improving and improving to make it more friendly to users, even if some of those said improvements were contoversial to a degree- she cared for everyone. Her biggest changed yet however, wouldn't come until the early days of 2018. She had done so much to help represent the community and fix it, she changed. From that copycat of Rainbow Dash, she became her own pony. Her style changed, she had finally earned her cutie mark, and now… now she was someone she can be proud of.

Personality:
Webby is a very happy-go-lucky gal. She as an affinity for flying and althetics, something from her recolor phase that she hasn't quite rubbed off yet… though she doesn't have any issues with it. She's always welcoming to everybody, upholds the rules of the community, and tries her best to help. However, she can sometimes a little overprotective, strict, and even paranoid. She means well, she rarely tries to hurt anyone on purpose- but her behavior can garner mixed reactions from the community.
