I read this book, Background Pony by shortskirtsandexplosions.
I love it, and hate it all at once.
Like… it's really intriguing, and moving, and has interesting character dynamics… and I hate it. I'll read it again. I'm waiting for a physical copy of the book. It's going to be proudly displayed on my shelves.
But this story gave me nightmares that I genuinely did not like. It darn near broke my heart.
