Ever Since we were first introduced to the city of Canterlot I have visually found it the most fascinating place in Equestria and how it can operate on such a high mountain side. over the years the show cannon has shown us small bits of the city and its many different locations making it appear bigger then it looks from a distance. I always liked the idea of the thriving metropolis been on the other side of the castle. from this initial idea I have been designing in my mind my interpretation of how I picture Canterlot from both the north and south beyond the royal gardens and gala hall, Everything in this sketch/ map has been been thought through and planned out (I even have an idea where Twilights family live). the neighbourhoods range from the private rich estates to the industrial gritty sky harbours.
