Recently I noticed how diverse and colorful the everyday kind of small stones are which are lying around on the ground everywhere. By now I have gathered up more than 1500 little stones to put them to good purpose. Same as the Maud Pie origami I posted lately this Applejack mosaic is part of an upcoming project which I wanted to post as one singular picture rather than just as part of the larger project. I took a couple of other pictures of the mosaic with different lighting and in one case with a fisheye lense.
