she grew up in Cloudsdale with her mother Honey feather and dad Gray Storm. she has a brother but he is working in canterlot. so she never saw him much. Grandoline was curious and brave as a filly. she also talked to the ponies who nopony noticed.

one day she helped a Stallion with his carriage. he told her about his stress and that he newly lost his wife, as grand listened she wrote some words. when he left she trotted home. at home her mom noticed the mark on her daughter flank and then told her daughter she had got her Cutiemark. the filly hugged her mother.

almost everyday Grand helped ponies in cloudsdale.
