There's are many reasons why tabletop games tend to produce ridiculous quotes and stories. It can be tough balancing in-character attitudes with in-game priorities and the laws of the setting, and the next thing you know, you're saying something along the lines of, "Necromancy is like jaywalking. It's technically not illegal, but it's frowned upon."
