inspired by the comic Lady of the Shard
(which i 100% recommend to anyone!!)

i did twist the story a bit to fit the ship sunlight- so this au doesnt take place in space and sunset is more of an anti-villain/accidental villain who redeems herself

so here is… what i like to call.. the pining acolyte au

when sunset shimmer falls in love with her patron deity the goddess of harmony, she conducts a spell that will pull her from the heavens and make her mortal

of course when she finally meets twilight she immediately regrets taking the one thing she loves from her own home and must figure out a way to get her back
