Description:

Auto-imported from derpibooru.org (893543)

Her name is short for Nethezeka, which is Zulu for the word relax.
Which fits greatly for her personality, because she is a very laid back individual.

Pronunciation is basically how it looks. (Zeh-Ka)

Zeka for one is a very relaxed, graceful and out going Giraffe.
She is very responsible and sort of like a mother-figure to some who look up to her for comfort and security.
She can be seen from many miles away and also she can see you from many miles away, for her eyesight is spectacular!
She is usually the first to see a threat of any kind.
Shes not very fond of "How's the weather up there?" jokes. But she'll still chuckle a little bit at them.
When her friends can't reach branches that have more leaves on them, she will kindly break some off and bring them down to them.
Obi the Elephant would do the same as well.
Zeka is actually really good friends with Obi for he is the closest to her height, even though she is close to 6 — 7 feet taller than he is, but it still saves her from bending down all the way to the ground, like with some of her fellow antelope friends, to have a good conversation.
They often share trees together.

If you would like to contribute to expand her personality even more, it would be much appreciated!

If you would like to know more about Reticulated Giraffes, I put some facts down over here.

A native of dry Savannah's and open woodland, the Giraffe browses higher that any other mammal, mainly for leaves of the Acacia and wild apricot, but also shoots, fruits, and other vegetation. The combination of greatly elongated tongue, skull, neck, shoulder region and legs, provides the Giraffes great reach when browsing.
Usually a small branch is drawn into the mouth with the long, flexible tongue, then the head is pulled away to rake off the leaves between the lobe-edged teeth.
Among the Giraffes many distinctive features are large eyes and ears. A back the slopes steeply from shoulder to rump. Stilt-like legs with large heavy feet. And a thin tail with a long, black tuft for whisking away flies.
The 2 — 4 specialized horns, called ocicones, are more developed in males than females. They are mostly meant for defense and are used when males are battling one another for dominance.
Feeding, drinking and other activities occur in the morning and evening, occupying about 12 hours, with rest (standing up, as in most hoofed mammals) taking place at night, and cud-chewing in the hot midday.

Most subspecies of Giraffe are recognized by skin pattern. The Reticulated Giraffe has a very large, sharp edged, deep chestnut patches separated by fine white lines.
Other subspecies have smaller, irregular, fuzzy-edged patches, which vary from yellow to almost black, with much more white in between.
Each Giraffes pattern is constant through life, and may help other Giraffes to recognize it, although the colors tend to vary with season and health.
