Rainbow Dash standing next to her G1 counterpart, Firefly. Firefly was a big star on her TV special, Rescue at Midnight Castle and became the well known pony. She also happens to be Lauren Faust's favorite pony, hence her username, :devfrye-flye: Firefly is a tomboy as she loves to do dangerous tricks such as double inside loop. Faust couldn't use her for FIM because of Hasbro loosing copyrights of this character so she had to redesign Firefly by using the Gen 3 Rainbow Dash colors and change the symbol to make it similar to Firefly. Gen 3 Rainbow Dash was always girly and is into fashion, never was a tomboy.
