You should know right off the bat, that I am a very devoted and excessive Fluttercord shipper. I mean come on, it’s pratically canon at this point! So I do have a few little headcanons for the ultimate OTP®.

It wasn’t long after ̶D̶i̶s̶c̶o̶r̶d̶ ̶s̶i̶n̶g̶l̶e̶ ̶h̶a̶n̶d̶e̶l̶y̶ ̶rescued the mane six and princesses, that things became a little bit more complicated for Discord. Almost losing Fluttershy made him realize that he had….feelings? For Fluttershy? ̶s̶t̶u̶p̶i̶d̶ ̶m̶u̶s̶h̶y̶ ̶e̶m̶o̶t̶i̶o̶n̶s̶ He wasn’t too sure what to do about it at first, but after a talk with his guys at their usual Ogres & Oubliettes meeting, he decided it was time to show that mare what a Lord of chaos could really do! Which ended up being him sheepishly mumbling something about ‘ I love you’ and stuttering out ‘ will you go out with me? ’ before melting into a puddle of soupy embarrassment and emotions ( for which you should probably give him some slack since his flirting skills are a thousand years rusty).

Big Mac and Spike still claim credit for Fluttershy and Discord’s engagement and said they deserved to be his best stallions ( not that there was really anypony also who could do it). Even after they both married, they each still live in their respective dwelling places, since a cottage on Ponyville is too normal for Discord, and a funhouse in the chaos dimension is too wild for Fluttershy. However, there is now a special door in each house that connects them by a magic portal so whenever they want to be together ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶s̶h̶a̶k̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶n̶g̶s̶ ̶u̶p̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶b̶e̶d̶, they can conveintly do so.

Honestly, I think these two were made for each other since the beginning. They balance each other perfectly, and while Fluttershy influences Discord to be as he said himself “ a better draconequus”, he in return gives Fluttershy more spirit and spunk.

Like Yin and Yang, baby!

As a married couple, I’m sure Discord was at first sorta hesitant to get into the mushy, feels stuff, but once his touch-love starved soul got used to it, he could never get enough! In Fluttershys case, as somepony who is always scared and shy of the world and it’s dangers, having a strong, powerful husband like Discord gives her a sense of security she’s never really had before.

And I bet they tease each other a lot and love to give each other surpise hugs and will stay up late just talking about things and Fluttershy teaches Discord how to knit while he shows her how to deep sea fish in the chaos dimension and they’re both so fulfilled in one another and are going to make babies very very soon :3


* Note about the picture: I’m more into traditional than digital, but I felt this piece really need to be colored. Drawing Discord is hard. If you don’t like the way I did it, im sorry, but I tried.😐 Also, this pose was hard anyway. This is also a recent piece, which you’ll need to know for later drawings. Yes, Fluttershy has her mane in a ponytail I’m so glad you noticed.
