- Wren is the adopted daughter of Apple Bloom and her later in life husband, Tender Taps. She and her twin brother, Finch, were conjoined at birth at the shoulder, and surgically separated. Their birth mother died during birth due to complications and their birth father was nowhere to be found, so the twins were sent to an orphanage. Finch and Wren lived their entire foal-hood in an orphanage called, "Lonely Hearts Foster Home". Due to Finch and Wrens conjoined birth, each of them are missing a front leg. Finch is missing his right leg, as Wren is missing her left. This handicap was minor due to them both being pegasi, and rather good flyers; but no pony wanted to adopt them.. Until Diamond Tiara brought Apple Bloom to meet them. Due to Apple Bloom being single and infertile, she adopted Finch and Wren as her children. Over the years, however, Apple Bloom ends up falling in love with an old friend named Tender Taps, and later in life marries him, and he becomes Finch and Wren's Adoptive Father. A few years after their wedding, Tender Taps and Apple Bloom decide to try for a baby through surrogacy. Diamond Tiara decides to carry the baby for Apple Bloom, and thanks to modern medicine and a little magic, Diamond Tiara successfully carries a baby for Tender Taps and Apple Bloom to full term; giving birth to their daughter: Jazzy Apple. Diamond Tiara is then named Godmother of Jazzy and the twins.

- Like with Finch, Wren feels that special twin connection; And can sense whenever Finch is feeling troubled or anxious, and she's right there to comfort him. Although she doesnt share that with Jazzy, Wren still tries her best to be a good big sister and comfort Jazzy in her times of weakness as well.

- Like Finch and his gardening, Wren loves flowers and growing anything with petals. Her favorite are cherry trees.. She loves the colors of the cherry blossoms. She saw them for the first time on a trip to Cherry Hill Ranch in Dodge Junction. Ms. Jubilee showed Wren the blossoming cherry fields and Wren instantly fell in love with the sight. After that day, Wren began planting her own section of the Apple Farm with not just cherry trees, but all kinds of different fruits. Just to see how they all blossom.

- Finch and Wren are best friends with Celestine and Quetzalli, and all hang out together as they get older. She spends more time with Celestine than Zalli or Finch, solely on the fact she isnt too fond of going on dangerous adventures; And neither is Celeste, really. When Zalli and Finch go off on their own somewhere, Wren and Celeste usually hang out in the fields waiting for them to come back.

- Chakra Flow taught Wren and Celestine how to make flower crowns, and Wren makes a flower crown with every blossom harvest. (Along with pressed flowers and other accessories with petals)

- Wren is a sweet, nature loving filly. But she does know how to cause a little mischief from time to time if she decides to do so.
