Genette, a young Red-crested Cardinal Griffon, was pacing around her dance studio while whistling a lovely tune. "You are my best frieeeeends. My, that is such a good song."

"Nice to see you're still keeping up with your singing." Genette looks over towards the doorway and saw Sunfyre, a red Pegasus Pony. She flutters up in the air with her large black & white wings, being all excited. "Sunny! You made it!" She then pounces onto him as she usually does as her welcome to him.

"Okay Jen. Maybe you can stop doing that now?"

"Can't help it. I am part predatory cat you know." She lets Sunfyre up as she chuckles. "Well, at least you kept your claws sheathed this time. Anyway, you called me here so what's up."

The happy Griffon takes him over to a pony-size mannequin. "I want to show you this." She removes the sheet and reveals a pink, blue & white cheerleader outfit. "A cheerleader outfit?" Sunfyre asks. "Oh yes. Doesn't it look lovely? I asked Winter Haven if she can make it."

"Yeah it is. But isn't it rather big for a mare?"

"Yeah, about that…" Genette removes the outfit off the mannequin & gives it to Sunfyre. "Here you go. I like for you to wear it."

Sunfyre's ears shot up. "Uh, excuse me?"

"You heard right. I like for you to wear them. After all, it was your measurements I used as a blueprint for Winter to use in her design." Genette says being all coy & whatnot. "Hmph. That explains why you ask me to pose for you. But couldn't you ask my sister to be your model?"

"I could…but Wyldfyre wasn't available, and you're both even in terms of your body length. And you have experience with modeling. Plus…I couldn't think of a better creature to model in this."

Sunfyre cocks an eyebrow. "And why is that Jenny?" Genette gives a smile. "Well…this is for the Hoofington Friendship School's cheerleading squad once the school opens up. I thought I pitch this as the cheerleading outfits for the Powder Puff Hoofball team."

Sunfyre's ears shot up again. "D-did you say Powder Puff Hoofball?"

"Yep. Well?"

He sighs and grunts. "Fine, I'll wear it." Sunfyre takes the clothes and heds for the dressing room.

About 4 minutes pass and Genette was tapping her talons. "Come on Sunny. What's taking so long?" Genette hears a grunting sound coming from the dressing room. "Okay okay, hold your feathers. I'm coming out."

The red Pegasus steps out of the dressing room dawning the cheerleading outfit. Genette whistles. "My my. Don't you look dapper & cute in your cheerleader outfit?"

Sunfyre was fluster & blushes. "Oh stop Jen. You're making me blush. besides, I'm only wearing these clothes for you."

Genette smiles a coy smile."Are you?", she asks.

"Yes."

"Are you?"

"Yes…"

"Are you?", Genette asks while winking. "Uh…yeah?", Sunfyre says, still sporting a fluster look. "Tee-hee. Says the crossdressing hobbyist.", chuckles Genette.

Confused, Sunfyre asks, "Why are you giggling Genette?"

"Oh its rather simple Sunny. I knew you wear it if I goaded you to."

"Wait, what? You goaded me?"

"Sort of. But truth be told, I got you hook, line, & sinker without trying." Genette sees Sunfyre giving her a look of wonder. "In other words my old dance partner…you were going to wear it anyway. Interested to know how I knew you would?"

"Yes. Try me Miss Griffon."

Genette chuckles. "Well, it goes like this. When I revealed the outfit to you, there was a sparkle in your eyes. You usually get like that if something you like draws your attention. Second, you're complaint was weak." Sunny looks at her confused. "Weak? What do you mean?"

"To put it mildly, you didn't put any effort to complain or deny to wear the cheerleader outfit. Your heart wasn't in the complaint. Third, you try to hide that pep in your step. You couldn't wait to wear it. You & Wyldfyre both sway your hips in a way that makes it pretty obvious that you're excited Sunfyre. And lastly…you're a fan of Powder Puff Hoofball. That alone was good enough to hook you."

Sunfyre laughs hysterically. "Seriously Genette? You think that would be enough to get me to do this?"

"You did take 2 minutes & 28 seconds longer than you normally would any other outfit. You take a little extra time to admire how you look, am I right?"

Sunfyre scratches his head, smiles & blushes just as Genette puts a claw on him. "You know me too well."

"That I do BPPFF. That I do."

Artist Tidbit:
Last week I had plan to do something for Valentine's Day but the plan had to be scrap due to something unfortunate that occurred with me. So instead I went to look back at few pieces I did and recall a piece I did with my MLP O/FC Sunfyre wearing a cheerleder outfit, and since I stayed away from the MLP episode '2, 4, 6, Greeeat' bandwagon, it felt good to get back on. It was more than an inspiration for me to do something. It also gave me an excuse to draw my songbird Griffon Genette since its been a while since I last drew her.
