On November 11th, 1918, the war to end all wars came to an official close. The armistice was signed on the eleventh minute of the eleventh hour, and the world as a whole breathed a sigh of relief, hoping to have a chance to rebuild after all the destruction. However, it was one thing to rebuild structures and cities — for the millions who gave their lives for their countries during those four horrific years, the loss their families felt was far greater than anything masonry and wood could ever begin to repair.
Hopefully some day we'll learn the right lessons from the blood shed since.
