I accidentally went FULL White Diamonds on this piece… Their expressions just turned out so… white… diamondy… Nowhere near as good as she'd do it of course.
Anyway, when I was finishing the sketch by adding the little accessories I searched online for "winter hat" and didn't like what I saw but I knew I wanted that trapper hat for AJ and whaddayaknow White Diamonds Rarijack Daily just happened to feature AJ sporting the perfect trapper hat for this piece. Clearly she read my mind and knew I needed help with pony garb since I'm terrible at it.
Well in the end, I just decided so much White Diamonds influenced this piece I'd just go ahead and dedicate this one to her. Also, since I went to town with it I missed the deadline for the prompt by a hundred miles. I was there in spirit.
