"So, if I were to marry a Princess…..let's say you for instance; if I were to marry you, would that make me a prince?"
"Well, I suppose if my brother, Shinning, who's married to an Alicorn, is a prince, then….yeah, you technically would become a prince."
"Alright, sweet! Oh! Do I get my own kingdom to rule oh! and a thone too?"
"Of course not, silly. It's more of a title than anything else. Besides, we wouldn't want to inflate that ego of yours any more than it already is."
"Aw, that's a shame. Here I had already picked out the name of my new castle. The Two Timber towers!"
"Uh…Why do you need two?"
"One for you, of course! Oh! And every year we'd have a 'Prince Timber Festival' where everypony gets nothing but chocolate chip ice cream and they all have to dress up as their favorite tree and dance down the street singing the Timber National Anthem."
"Bwahahahahaha!"
"Hey, you laugh now, but wait until you see the crown designs Pansy and I drew up."
sighs "……What am I ever gonna do with you?"

"Well, for starters, how about you marry me?"

"Wait, whAT
"

I pray for the OTP on the weekend! Mama, can I get another amen?

I don't ship these two like I do Fluttercord, but after spending a week completely focused on them and writing their story, I'd say I'm at 'this-is-shrine-worthy- level. When it comes to Twilight herself, however, I never shipped her so hardcore with anyone else before. You see, I'm not a big fan of Flash ( in the franchise, he had no personality whatsoever to me and he just felt like a cheap rip off of Troy Bolton) and since there weren't many other stallions to choose from that could have a connection with her, I originally planned for her to be a single mom and to just adopt ( and thus, Pansy was born)
That is, until I watched Legend of the Everfree. Finally, after years of half-hearted, cheesy moments with Flash sprinkled in throughout the show, here was a ship that had what I felt Flashlight did not; chemistry. And I'll admit, it was a little rushed and corny for a relationship, but it's understandable when trying to shove a romance plot into an hour and a half long film. Then, when the mini short came out of Twilight and Timber's first date, I knew then that I was going to ship it till the sun burns out.
And yes, I know, the movie uses Human Twilight rather than Pony Twilight, but since there's a human and pony counterpart for everyone, I don't think it's too far-fetched to say that the Pony version of Timber would meet and fall in love with Twilight, just like his human version.
Not to mention, Timber is just so adorkable and sweet and I would give my green hair boi my soul if he asked for it.
Anyway, you're not here to hear me ramble on about mah ship, you want the juicy details. Well, have at it:

As we all know, all good things have to come to an end, and for Pansy, Camp ended waaaay too soon. The morning after Parents night, both Pansy and Twilight had to say their goodbyes to Timber, and the only thing that would console the sobbing filly enough to drag her to the train station was the promise that Timber would come and visit her in Ponyvile. Month's passed and winter came with no sign of Timber. Twilight was sure that Pansy would forget all about the Camp Counselor as time went on, so it surprised her to find her filly sitting occasionally at the window in springtime, still waiting patiently for her friend to come. The sight nearly broke Twilight's heart and she was about ready to write to Timber and invite him for a visit. Fortunately, she didn't have too.
One mid-spring day, Pansy was at the window again reading away to pass the time. When she looked up, she nearly jumped out of her skin to see Timber at the glass, smooshing his face on it in a silly way. Her surprise turned to joy and she raced outside to meet him, with Twilight on her heels. Once the breath-choking hugs and cordial greetings were exchanged, Timber explained that he didn't come just to visit them, but that he actually got a job right in Ponyville! Turns out, he had taken Twilight's advice and talked about pursuing a new career with his sis, Gloriosa, who then practically shoved him out of the Camp and told him "I've got this" and to go pursue that dream of his.
So now, here he was, the new sports director of the Ponyville school board, with a new house not a block away from the castle to boot. It was the change of pace that Timber longed for, and for Pansy, it was a dream come true! It seemed that every day now, Pansy was off somewhere with Timber, either following at his heels or dragging him back to the castle with her to show him her garden. Twilight herself immensely enjoyed his visits, and not just because she loved seeing the way Timber would make Pansy so happy, but because he was also a charming and funny, yet sensible guy to hang out with. The more time she spent with him talking or going places, the more she realized just how much she cherished his company.
A few months after Timber's arrival, Pansy and Timber were just doing their thing and getting ice cream together, when the shop pony accidentally mistook Timber as Pansy's Dad. This is not the first time this has happened, mind you. But as they were exiting the shop, little innocent Pansy asked Timber out-of-the-blue if he'd like to become her Daddy. After having the awkward conversation explaining that he'd need to marry Twilight first, Pansy jumped at the idea and after wheedling a bit, she got Timber to admit that he'd actually really like that. So, with Pansy's help and a new suit, Timber showed up the next night at Twilight's front door, nervously asking her if she would join him for Dinner. Stunned, but delighted, Twilight said yes.
A half a year later, Twilight said yes again, this time, at the altar. And although all of Equestria was thrilled that the beloved Princess of Friendship was get married (without a changeling invasion this time) there wasn't a soul alive who was happier than Pansy. After 7 years of being a single mom, Twilight's family finally felt complete, while the rest of the mane six cried tears of joy that their best friend finally found a loving partner like the rest of them. However, this was by no means a happy ending; it was a happy beginning of something new.
