Knight-Captain Spitfire is an exemplary soldier. The independent City-State, Cloudsdale, has a strong record of military success and stability, much of which can be attributed to Spitfire’s efforts.
Demonstrating her thorough training, Spitfire uses a short-spear with incredible skill and efficiency. Her technique is admirable and sets the standard all soldiers should strive for. She is a capable fighter in all situations, able to adapt to offensive or defensive stances and strategies swiftly.
But perhaps the most interesting aspect of her fighting ability is her competence in minor pyroturgy, which she uses to augment her spear strikes with searing flame. Despite not possessing the natural ability of a unicorn, Spitfire has learned to channel mana to a respectable degree. I suspect it she somehow uses her spear as a focus to artificially emulate the powers of a unicorn horn. Learning to do as such would require an inordinate amount of focus and practice; which is a testament to Spitfire’s determination and will.
As leader of the Wonderbolts, Cloudsdale’s elite strike force, Spitfire has years of experience leading small teams of skilled fighters. She has a natural charisma and maintains a calm mind under pressure. She is the ideal leader.
All her skills and talent make Spitfire a truly prime candidate for the team. However, it’s possible for this reason she is not available to us at this moment. Cloudsdale government seems reticent to let her go, as her position in the Cloudsdale military has been invaluable. She herself, feels obligated to Cloudsdale, and doesn’t wish to join the team. She, however, wishes to introduce me to an up and coming star of the military, Rainbow Dash. Spitfire believes that this Dash would be willing and capable to serve as a bodyguard for Twilight during her quest.
I shall proceed to evaluate her in another entry.
