One of the things I liked about the official Power Ponies comic was Humdrum's design. I kept the colors, made him a little older, and promoted him from "useless sidekick" to "the new guy." As for the name "Stitches", it was my mom's idea. Stitches is a costume designer, and he met each of the Power Ponies before they came together because they came to him for their costumes. He also likes cosplay. One day, he was on his way to a convention, dressed as a superhero, during a battle between the Power Ponies and the Mane-iac. The Mane-iac had the upper hand… hoof, but Stitches distracted her long enough for the heroes to win the fight. Later on, the Power Ponies decided he would be a helpful addition to the team, and he joined them.
