I have a strong feeling that the people in hasbro are kingdom heart fans. Specifically, the animators and scriptwriters of mlp. The reasons; the heart symbol looks very similar to the heart symbol in kingdom hearts, the small symbol on the bottom of the spine of the book I think looks like an attack up symbol from unchained X, and twilight at this scene says "portal keys", and if I recall correctly keyblades were used to open portals. So could this scene possibly be a kingdom hearts reference? Be sure to let me know!
