Once again I've failed to bring out the monthly picture within the month it was supposed to be released in. But again, at least I finished it the day after.

I thought about obviously doing a Thanksgiving picture for November, maybe a pony eating a slice of pumpkin pie (since ponies obviously wouldn't eat turkey), but… another eating picture just didn't appeal to me. I felt more like exercising my skills in more dynamic poses. The idea first started as a drawing of a pony doing ballet, because hey, The Nutcracker is playing all over the place.
Then I decided to make it Skywishes and add the butterflies, which reminded me of the "Dancing in the Clouds" scene. She was originally going to be wearing a tutu, but after I watched the video again, I saw that she wasn't wearing one so I left it out. But while I was watching it, I also noticed how beautiful the sky was in the scene where she meets Starcatcher, so instead of doing a background of a stage or whatever, I went with the sky instead.

And that's where we are now. I'm really happy I went with this. She looks so beautiful and graceful.
