New ship xD In my headcanon, Burnt Oak never found anyone to share his life with; and after Bright Mac's death, kind of gave up looking for himself and focused on his work after mourning for his best friend.

Although Jasmine Leaf is, in my headcanon, older than the main six; she's only a few years older in general. I imagine she ends up developing an attraction/preference for older stallions instead of ponies around their own age and falls for Burnt Oak upon meeting him late at night at a bar. Age gap couples are not a new idea, and maybe a younger, pretty lady was just what that lonely woodspony needed to bring the spark back into his life. (Jasmine Leaf is the name given to her on the wiki)

As some people say; Men age like a fine wine. Or in this case, stallions.

(Honestly I just thought they'd look adorable together; the age gap doesn't bug me since they are both legal adults and I myself have witnessed an age gap like this within my own family — and they are perfectly happy together still with another baby on the way~)
