11. The two young Pegasi drifted together on the fluffiest, softest cloud they could find. They lay on their backs, wings spread out beneath them. Their breathing was deep and peaceful despite the thin air. The two studied the amazing, vast blanket of stars above. Rainbow Dash's dress and Soarin's tux remained discarded on the cloud below, lying in a wrinkled heap.

"Rarity is going to kill me over that dress." Rainbow's voice broke the content silence, snuggling further into her stallion's chest. Her husband of about twelve hours tightened his forelegs around her, nuzzling her beautiful, disheveled, multicolored mane.

"I must say, Mrs. Soarin," he said with a smile in his voice. "I'd expected two Wonderbolts to make the very skies fall. I didn't expect the fastest flier in Equestria to prefer slow and steady. To like slow and steady…"

"Oh, hush up you featherbrain." Rainbow Dash replied, shifting until her glittering eyes met Soarin's bright green ones. "I've been up since about three this morning, getting poked and prodded and slathered in makeup. I've been a little busy with, I dunno, getting married."

"Oh, wow! Congrats! Who's the lucky stallion?" Soarin quipped. Rainbow playfully swatted his shoulder.

"Oh, believe me. Once I'm rested up, thunder's really gonna start rollin'," She said with conviction before lying back across Soarin's light blue chest. He chuckled, stroking her mane for a moment before assuming a pensive expression.

"But…its okay, sometimes, that we don't make the skies fall and thunder roll?" He questioned hesitantly. Rainbow lifted her head again, expression surprisingly soft.

"Even the most awesome, hardcore pegasi need a gentle breeze once in awhile."
