Another commission of mine by the lovely and talented MiyatheGoldenflower.

This one bears some explaining. In my AU, Noireverse, Flash Sentry is descended from Flash Magnus and Somnambula, who didn't get trapped in limbo. As such, he feels the burden of trying to live up to a lineage that has been full of heroes and legendary names when he's a lowly beat cop in Ponyville. Here, he contemplates the weight of his ancestors while his mother, Joyful Sound, tries to comfort him. Unseen behind them, Flash's father Storm Strike, an Army officer who died in battle, and his progenitors look on with pride, knowing that their descendant will make them proud.
