I thought the Season 8 Finale could have been a great chance for the Cutie Mark Crusaders to shine. But no, they got stuck in a broom closet. Oh well, at least we can still dream of what could have been. Imagine, if you will, a sort of magical-girl type showdown between the CMC and Cozy Glow. Like a shonen style finale climax. Or Powerpuff Girls if you will. Maybe we'll get something more akin to that in Season 9, who knows.
