So, Season 5 hype. Aye.

New reference material is one thing (stallions in my case), but new characters are an added bonus.

Whenever they're not recycling old assets and make new ones you start to see it, especially with the crystal ponies in Season 3, the Caramel-like henchponies and Ahuizotl's underlings in Season 4, though the instances were still quite rare. Now there's oodles to work off of, the stallion trot cycles for instance, or like can be seen here, the unicorn horns having a more consistent stroke thickness with the rest of the body (you never noticed since I would correct it, usually).

I figured when I first saw image macros and memes from the previews months ago that there'd be an asset overhaul, but it's different to see it for yourself when that time comes.

Oddly, an equalized Party Favor was my first subject. Maybe this time I won't have a spontaneous comic idea with them that puts a hold on any further projects like what happened to the crystal ponies…
