This was a christmas gift set I made for someone close, of characters from the video game Dust: An Elysian Tail. Pony base was a generation 4 Rainbow Dash, Fidget’s base was a blind bag sized pony. Leather ears added to both, Fidget has leather wings and tail. Both coated in white gesso to give a texture for acrylic paint work to bond to. Both are entirely hand painted then sealed in Artists Varnish. Dust’s mane is nylon mlp dollyhair in the a custom color blend of atomic turquoise/stormy sky. Mane permanently styled/hardened in hair gel method, tail is hand stitched faux fur. I dyed bias tape for the darker gray sleeves with gray Rit Dye. Outfit is entirely hand stitched from cotton materials, bias tape and a stiff black ribbon trim. Hat is cut from thick leather and hand stitched. Sword is thick leather sandwiched between faux silver vinyl, handle and hilt are dowels with brown hemp cord and ribbon wrapped around. Hand painted detail on the sword and a bead and rhinestone finish the details.
