One day during summer break, Applejack heads to the beach to meet up with her friends. After setting up her chair and umbrella, she takes off her sandals and sunbathes while she waits for the others. While she waits, however, one of her classmates named Golden Spiral (or Goldie) comes over with a pocket watch in her hand. Goldie tells the farm girl that she is doing a case study on hypnosis for psychology class and asks Applejack if she could hypnotize her for a brief moment. Applejack agrees and directs her attention to the swinging watch. In a few moments, Applejack falls into a deep hypnotic trance and awaits Goldie's commands. However, Goldie reveals that she lied to Applejack about the case study and that she just wanted to hypnotize the southern girl in order to use her as a servant for the day. Now with her victim in her power, Goldie tells Applejack to come over to her spot on the beach to begin her day as an obedient servant girl….
