in the beginning, Twi always wanted to study magic and surpass her idol, Star Swirl the Bearded.
I guess by the time of s09e26, she had fulfilled her dream even more than enough.
the warm bg parts symbolizes the very beginning of the tv show and the fandom itself, and the cold bg parts symbolizes end of an era, and the great unknown.
