The show never gave us the part where Thorax's older brother met Queen Chrysalis. Even though he was one of the changelings during Queen Chrysalis' reign, he betrayed her and went all on his out. So, as we all know now, Pharynx was also a traitor, and that Queen Chrysalis finds out the truth.
