You've seen my statuses about how Furcadia has been looking dismal, but recently I found a group of people from the good old days who have been reminiscing and gathering up archives of old dreams. They even brought back Order of the Wolf which I was never a part of back in the day but it was one of those dreams you just instantly recognize by name.

I tried Roblox but there's just too much of a barrier to learning the code between finding what you need on Google and a developer community that's rude and condescending to new people. It's just not home. Furcadia was always that home to me, and while it may never be the same and may never recover to its former glory, I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts and fantasize that it will one day revive.

To get to the point, back when I first joined Furcadia in 2007, it was still G3 I had just started loving MLP. I tried to nab several MLP names for my characters, as there was one dream called "PonyLand" which I adored. There can't be more than one character with the same name in Furcadia, so I had "❤️Heart Throb" (or something like that), "xXTrulyXx", but the one pony I managed to get the real, pure name for was Thistle Whistle.

Now that this group has gotten together and walking down memory lane, trying to restore old alts, I had to see if I could get her back. Now when you don't log into a character in so long and they don't have any purchased items on them, they will expire and the name can be taken by anyone else. But even though she had expired at least 10 years ago, the name was open! Now she's mine again. And now that she has a port, she's mine forever!
