In the final draft of Journey of the Spark, after Twilight ends up in the town of Drocsid, she meets clones of her friends but with their G1 names and color schemes. She doesn't realise that Drocsid and the ponies are Discord's creations, playing off her emotions to make her stay and not want to leave.
