_{About Buck}

Apple Jack Jr., or referred to as "Buck" for his middle name, is the only son of Applejack and Flim. Buck is a Cutie Mark Crusader, and the only colt in the group. He loves to help his uncle Big Mac around the farm and help his parents sell the products they make.

Applejack often tells Buck the story about how she and his father used to be enemies, and how he always tried to con his way into everything with Uncle Flam. But over the years, Flim began actually caring for the Apple Family, and tried convincing Flam to quit shamming ponies and be good. Flam was appalled at Flim's sudden change of heart, and disowned his brother and left without him one night while Flim was sleeping.
Big Macintosh and Applebloom found him on the side of the road near Manehatten; alone, dirty and ill.
They brought Flim back to the farm and at first, Applejack was a bit skeptical. But over the time she helped him recover, she saw just how much he changed, and ended up falling for the stallion.

Buck has been told many times to stay away from Uncle Flam, he is nothing but trouble. So the majority of the time he is with Uncle Big Mac, and learning what he can from him instead.
