Prompt: draw a villain pony/pony with issues

I was stuck with which to draw: nightmare moon or pony of shadow, because I did chrysalis yesterday… Also I know I said I wouldn't use copics but I couldn't help it and wanted him to pop a bit so I used purple. Also I have drawn nightmare moon before and really wanted to draw the recent villain. I think he came out very nice. would be great as a print… well I think anyway ' I also gave him an iris so it wasn't just plain light.

Tell me what ya think of him? he's not my fav but he does a good job at being evil :P
