1. "Oh stars, not this again! Jupiter, old buddy, old pal! Your mother is going to kill me! Please come back!"

Like all baby unicorns, Jupiter Sky had his magic "spark" when he was just an infant. Starlight and Sunburst had thought they were well-prepared for their son's spark. As it turns out, they weren't even close. Usually, a foal's spark wanes and fades at six months old, leaving their skills fairly dormant until around six or seven. Jupiter's started to wane…then didn't. Like Flurry Heart, he delighted in testing his limits and terrifying his parents and family members. It certainly takes a lot of patience from his loved ones to ride through his bursts. While they concede Flurry's overall spark was ever-so-slightly more draining, it was certainly a relief to his family when Jupiter was able to start learning to control his magic.



2. Jupiter, as his name would suggest, is passionate about astronomy and has been looking through telescopes since he was quite small. An avid stargazer, he has charted what seems to be Equestria's entire sky and beyond. However, something changed a bit the night he got his cutie mark. Initially observing the beauty that is his namesake, he suddenly sees a bright light, then some strange celestial movement. A massive shooting star sprints across the sky and followed by a magnificent, sparkling trail of blue and violet. But it isn't the sight that attracts the colt — its the sudden, new, and wonderfully unique surge of magic that shakes him to his very core. His horn glows, golden light growing brighter by the second. Starlight arrives to find her son frozen in a trance-like state, starting at the fading remnants of the star…a sparkling, brand-new cutie mark on his flank.
